The Experience

Hi, we're a hostel located in the center of Oaxaca. The aim at Maka is good vibes and safe spaces. Although we are not a party hostel we like to socialize and have a good time with everyone. We aim to be the home away from home for many travellers that stay with us. We offer Free breakfast, beds, free beer and of course our pool!! Volunteer duties: Working reception and bar, running activities and being the soul of our place.

Incredible 3-week volunteer opportunity at the hostel. Highly recommend this opportunity for anyone that is looking to work with a wonderful group of people. I felt welcomed and appreciated during my stay and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I mostly did Reception and Bar service. I'm glad I tried bartending because I ended up enjoying the experience so much more than expected.
