The Experience

We are looking for someone to help in the kitchen. To help to prepare the dinner for the pilgrims, to help with the dishes and to help in cleaning the space. The tasks can be very flexible. It is a small kitchen and the volunteers eat also here.

Before I went to Miriam's place I said I wanted to grow and develop. That's exactly what happened. It was tough for me at first to do the tasks as they were meant to be done. Once I was able to make some mental adjustments my experience really took off and just got better and better. I extended my stay because I felt so good there. Miriam and Danilo did so much to make us feel welcome. Aside from their house we also got to know people from the surrounding area. I made friends for life and some truly unforgettable moments. And I did grow in so many ways. It convinced me of the WP experience.

I'm so glad that you had a nice experience. We like people like you, that they try to do the best they can. Sometimes we need someone who tells us what we don't want to hear.
I'm sure we are going to see us again. All the best my friend.

The hostel is an amazing place! I am grateful to have spent a month there learning so much with great people every day. And if you want to learn Spanish, it's the best place to go. After a month volunteering, I was surprised that could already communicate well in Spanish, as everyone there encourages you to speak in the local language. :) Surrounded by green, you can even ride the horses when you want to feel the amazing nature while greeting the pilgrims and feeling the magic energy of the Camino. Thank you Miriam, Danilo and Victor for such an awesome opportunity I will never forget. ❤

Renan was an amazing volunteer! At first I doubted to accept him because he was young and he had any rewiews but he wanted to come so bad that I accepted him. He is a very hard worker and motived boy, always happy and smiling a lot. I highly recommend him.
He stayed around 3 months with us and we will not forget him. All the best for you.
You have a family here.
