The Experience

We have 5,5 hectares of conservation and protection of the native forest, cabins, an event room in the forest, a restaurant with sustainability policies, an organic garden and we work with horses! We are going to need help with kitchen hand, housekeeping and cleaning, but the principal activities are connected with the garden : D

I had an amazing time there : the place is located in a beautiful natural area. Get ready at having a pure and complete immersion in the forest. If you like spending time outside, you will have plenty of choices to share or improve your skills, and add some new ones at your profil ! :) A big thanks at the owners, at the duo of admins (Camilo and Véro), at the chef (Javiera) and at the team of volunteers, who have contribued at make this experience memoriable :) <3 Hasta Luego KodKod !

I had a good time at KodKod. The place is beautiful, in the middle of Nature and I could also explore a bit around.
The volunteers' house was very comfortable and well equipped and I had a lot of fun with the other volunteers.
I worked mainly at the restaurant, which would vary from being empty - and then it was boring- to being super full - which can be energy consuming-, but I guess that's how it works.
It would have been better if the hosts were more integrated with volunteers or would create more moments for sharing experiences, as that's what worldpackers is about - community.

Maybe it was because of the summer but i felt most of the time, that i was there just to be a working piece more than a part of a community. Also i don't recommend you to go on mid summer because the schedule if you have to work on the restaurant cuts your hole day. Anyway the places and views of this area around worth everything and the experiences that i lived made me grow a lot
