I had a good time at KodKod. The place is beautiful, in the middle of Nature and I could also explore a bit around.
The volunteers' house was very comfortable and well equipped and I had a lot of fun with the other volunteers.
I worked mainly at the restaurant, which would vary from being empty - and then it was boring- to being super full - which can be energy consuming-, but I guess that's how it works.
It would have been better if the hosts were more integrated with volunteers or would create more moments for sharing experiences, as that's what worldpackers is about - community.
Maybe it was because of the summer but i felt most of the time, that i was there just to be a working piece more than a part of a community. Also i don't recommend you to go on mid summer because the schedule if you have to work on the restaurant cuts your hole day. Anyway the places and views of this area around worth everything and the experiences that i lived made me grow a lot
Our community has been created to facilitate our positive connections with the environment. We believe that it is important to live not only prioritizing economic aspects in life, but looking for the ecological limits of them. Saving the planet is something that begins with the way each of us organizes our own way of life: our jobs, what we eat, or what we value.About the host
