I had a great time at the hostel! All the other volunteers and staff were lovely company and Antony was always very quick to respond to any doubts or concerns. The work is fairly simple: checking guests in and out, keeping the common spaces tidy, changing bed sheets, and occasionally helping to cover the bar. Oaxaca is a vibrant, lively city with lots to offer and the volunteer shift pattern gives you more than enough down time to explore. Would definitely recommend, thanks for having me!

My stay at this hostel couldn't be better, the city is beautiful full of art, colors and incredible food, I met so many cool people and I made really good friends that I cant wait to see them again. The staff was really organized and they were all the nicest people I had a nice bond with each of them, and also all of the volunteers were so nice and helpful all the time that's how I met my bestie. The schedule is great you have kinda like a long shift but after you have plenty of time to do whatever you want even to go to the beach, San Jose del Pacifico and nearby towns, ty sm ft opportunity.

Hernan was a great Volunteer! he was very helpful at reception and any other task! we really love his work, very responsable and commitment with the hostel. Volunteering at the hostel was a great first volunteer job - they set the bar very high for my next volunteer work moving forward. Anna, and the team at the hostel were so incredibly welcoming and supportive when it came to the job and expectations. The hostel creates a great community for the volunteers and the guests. The schedule was great, giving plenty of time to explore the city and surrounding towns. What a great experience.

I volunteer here for 4 months now, 💯 would recommend volunteering here! Staff, volunteers they were all great (I would miss you guys so much). The hostel it's social, and the work is not much. You only work twice a week so u can do whatever u like in your free time
