I felt at home with Sylvia and Jerome. I enjoyed learning about the language, culture, and how to cook with Jerome. They accommodated my diet, which excludes red meat. I enjoyed caring for the animals as they are sociable. Like Mikayla, I did not get any days off, but I had a lot of free time between my schedule and I had brought things to do. I did not expect to be alone on the property so often, so I didn't get to work with the horses as much as I would have liked. Thank you Sylvia and Jerome for the unique experience and lovely hospitality!

I felt very welcomed here at Jerome and Sylvias Farm. The main jobs are to do with the horses. Feeding and lunging. There is a chance to ride as well. Also feed their two lovely dogs and three cute cats. My only negative feedback/concern was not having any days off. It is advertised that you get 2 days off per week. I did not. The work load isn't huge, however is mostly physical, so a day off is needed. They accommodated to me being vegetarian Jerome took me to Bergerac and a couple of flea markets which was cool! All in all it was a great stay:)Thank you! I will miss the animals!

Sylvia and Jerome made me welcome in their home and family, I would recommend anyone who wants to be in nature and have “solo time”, if you love animals and cooking. Really enjoyed my time there!

Sylvie and Jerome were lovely hosts and made a great effort to help me feel welcome and relaxed. I learned a lot of new things like looking after the plants in the greenhouse and some woodworking skills too. We ate beautiful food and they helped me experience cuisine I never thought I would eat. The location of their home is stunning and perfect for re-connecting with nature, and they have some of the most lovely animals around.
