The Experience

My name is Wesley and my two year old Belgian Shepard Luther is in need of a strong willed and dedicated caretaker. I work evenings and Luther has separation anxiety since we moved here. I can’t leave him unattended because he barks and the neighbors get upset. Evenings if you could watch him until I get back home that would be amazing. Come spend the holidays with us in the heart of Amsterdam!

I had an incredible time in Amsterdam, thankfully for Wes and Louie! Louie is an amazing and lovely dog, always ready to play with you. You need to know that he is afraid of everything on the streets and you need to be patient with him. Wes helps you a lot, with your communication skills, walking on parks, with food and suggestions for touristic places to go. I definitely recommend this experience, especially if you like and know how to handle dogs!

This experience was life changing and eye opening, to work with Luther was a gift from heaven. The job is easy and Luther is just adorable I want to be with him even on my off hours. The task and hours are good and the area is really nice and close to a lot of places. I'll recommend this voluntary without a doubt.

My experience here was great! Luther is such a sweet boy trying his best to get used to living in the city with so much noise and people, which he gets scared of. It was sometimes hard to walk Luther alone because he pulls me so much, but he is still working on: it) Wesley took me to local cafes every day, let me watch movies, and talking about culture, politics, movies with him was fun. I also had a private room and plenty of time for myself too:))

You are amazing Kanako, any host is super lucky to have your caring and supportive energy. You were a huge help this month, I already see massive improvement in Luther’s ability to trust other people. We will definitely see you again ! Speak soon, enjoy the open road!
