The Experience

Use all your practical skills for a good cause! Construction work projects in Tanzania need the helping hands of volunteers to provide support to locals. A natural talent for practical work, a positive attitude and hands-on mentality is all that's needed! Spend your time abroad building schools in Tanzania for those in need, or help to renovate community buildings, hospitals and classrooms. A truly unique way to learn about a foreign culture.

If you want to meet people and have fun this is your place. Thankyou Marko, Samson, Conjepta and lolita for making me feel like home. I had the opportunity of doing a lot of things not only in one place and that was cool, the library was the best place to teach and the orphanage the best place to give and receive love. Asante sana Rafiki. Now I have a familia in Arusha!

Going to Africa to volunteer with the white rose org has been one of the best experiences in my life. I can't thank enough for everything, there are so many things you can choose to do that you can have multiple experiences in schools, projects, teaching, etc. Marko is an amazing person to work with who is always there when I need it working until the end with us for the kids, the host family was very nice and welcoming. I feel very grateful for find this NGO, meeting Marko, all the kids, the host family, the volunteers and all the people who are like family. Asante Sana love you all ❤🇹🇿

My experience as a volunteer with White Rose Organization was amazing. I have no words. My host family (conjepta and her sisters and mother) was amazing and i felt at home form the beginning. They were really friendly and caring and the best cookers ever.
The school (sammena school) was amazing. I love every moment at the school with the kids and the teacher. I really recommend it

I volunteered for two weeks and it was an impressive experience. I really appreciated the possibility I had to live Africa immersing in its culture: going to school with children, meeting local people, staying in a magic family eating their delicious food and feeling their love and affection. The school was a bit too far, one hour every day for each travel :/ but the people working there are all amazing and lovable. And my host family was simply perfect: I had my room so I had my privacy, but everyone was caring a lot about us. I mention only some problems with the organization of th Safari...

Marko and Sam are very flexible and relaxed hosts. They can organize anything that you ask of them in Arusha. The accommodations were excellent, safe, and the food was also delicious each and everyday. The 4 weeks with them went by very quickly. Mornings at school, evenings in the library. I taught at two schools because there was an incident (the fault of the first school not having proper paperwork), so I experienced several different environments. I highly recommend teaching at Sameena Primary School. A great introduction to volunteering and wonderful experience in Tanzania. Asante Sana
