The Experience

I live in the countryside, on a large piece of land where I am developing a permaculture garden project, an autonomous orchard, and the creation of a garden dedicated to aromatic and medicinal plants on raised beds. The tasks are varied. I am seeking help to continue these projects and other activities related to them or according to the volunteers' abilities. We can communicate in French, English, or Spanish and I can help you learn French.

Valérie is a great woman. She welcomed in her home and provided me with everything I needed from the beginning. She even helped me with things beyond her duties and I'm really grateful for it. The tasks at her place are varied, and we often have flexibility to choose an specific activity, which give us the opportunity to focus on the things we like to do the most. The work can be heavy at times but we always took breaks when necessary. I recommend you all to give her project a chance. It's definitely worth it and you'll leave having learn very valuable things.

I found it to be an interesting lifestyle, with good ideas and a thriving ground with elements to work on. As I was in discomfort I had to leave earlier, unfortunately

My experience with Valerie was very beautiful, her way of living is very admirable; to be honest, it feels like a home away from home. Arriving here as my first volunteering experience was very enriching; it helped me to trust in myself and I learned many things in a short time. The work is nice and manageable, you have a good time. She is very kind and attentive, she keeps her rules firm to have a good environment.
And it was beautiful to get to know Brittany from here.

This was my first volunteer experience and it couldn't have been any better. Valerie is a great host, with a kind heart and a lot of dedication to her garden. I learned a lot about gardening, teamwork, getting to know Breton culture and French in general, and improving my French. This was one of the best experiences of my life, and I am very grateful to Valerie for teaching us so much and for hosting us in her home.
