For a non-veg/vegan, this experience is very valuable. I really liked the purely vegan diet and showed me once again that you can replace anything and it still tastes very good. Through the conversations and the time with the animals, I can actually imagine a veg/vegan diet and the experience is not intended to convert people, but it still makes you think. What I will miss most are the goats and the dogs (especially my love doña Carmen). The two locals are really committed to their animals who would do anything for them what I really appreciate and I hope they keep it up.Will visit them again☺

Being a volunteer at the shelter sanctuary was a great opportunity to be part of a project as beautiful as this, interacting with those responsible you can see how much love and dedication they put into building the sanctuary and giving the best for the animals, so knowing that I was part of building this is very special, and in return I was able to connect with nature and the animals who are simply adorable. Fran and Sabela are great hosts and always take your opinion and suggestions into consideration, so in general I only have good words to describe this experience.

El refugio es un lugar precioso, al que recomiendo ir con el corazón abierto para entregárselo a los el refugio y ellos, cada uno a su manera, harán lo mismo contigo. Es muy lindo ver como cada día los vas conociendo y descubres algo único de la personalidad de cada uno. Fran y Sabela hacen la convivencia muy agradable y se nota que su prioridad es el bienestar de los el refugio. Sabela es como una madre para todos y es increíblemente paciente. Además, las tareas son simples y siempre hay algo por hacer. Me voy con muy lindos recuerdos y muchas ideas de recetas veganas por probar 🤍

Es como un pequeño hogar en la montaña. El trabajo es sencillo y recompensante, al estar con el refugio. Los días pasan tranquilamente, mientras surgen nuevas actividades espontáneamente. Se lleva un estilo de vida lento pero nada aburrido, pues siempre hay algo que hacer: construir, alimentar, cuidar o simplemente pasar tiempo con los el refugio, voluntarios o anfitriones en la casa, los prados o incluso el río. La convivencia es familiar y cercana, sobretodo gracias a Sabela, quien ama a todos los el refugio con todo su corazon y cocina también de maravilla. Un el refugio que merece la pena.♥️🐾

Ha sido una experiencia muy enriquecedora. Fran y Sabela son súper flexibles y hacen que la estancia sea muy agradable. Cuidan muchísimo de todos los el refugio y es muy fácil aprender con ellos. Lo recomiendo al 100%, es una experiencia que todos deberían poder vivir en algún momento.
