Be part of a group of 6 volunteers for hands-on olive harvesting in Puglia. In exchange for your work in the olive groves, we offer shared accommodation, home-cooked meals, art and cultural heritage activities, cheesemaking, and excursions to Matera and rupestrian fresco sites. The harvest runs November 4–28. Volunteers must stay for the full harvest period, including rest/five to six excursion days. Help driving a van (manual) is appreciated.

Thanks to the Familia the farm, I spent 3 weeks with them and with other international travelers, learning not just about olives, but also learning about italian local life, about different cultures, friends, hardwork and a lot about my self, I arrived expecting learn more about olives but I received a mind changing experience and a second home, there are now words to describe how thankful I am with everyone. Definitely worth it!! And congratulations to the farm family for creating such a great tradition.

This experience is truly life changing, and I invite all of you to not hesitate to apply. the farm will host you in the best condition you can ever imagine. It was my first volunteering experience, I wasn't sure about what to expect,but it was exactly how it's described and even better. I've encountered beautiful people from all around the world, discover more about the Italian culture and about the olives (extremely interesting). But beyond all that, I've been part of a true family during my stay, composed of the strangers I just met , Tonio and the rest of the beautiful the farm

What an experience it was staying with Tonio and his family. From the delicious food Rosanna prepared for us every day, to singing in the orchards while collecting olives, to exploring neighboring towns full of history and culture, to making lifelong connections with the other volunteers, there was nothing more I could have asked for from this opportunity. Being in the fields is hard work, but it so worth when you get to spend the evening with lovely people and food, making every day as memorable as the next. Grazie mille, Tonio e familiglia. Tonio was such an amazing host. Yes, the work is hard, but we really felt like a team. We shared so many special moments, and once the work was done, Tonio took us out to see as many different parts of the region. He was so passionate about teaching us as much as he could about the history and meaning of everything in and around Altamura. This is definitely not an experience for someone just looking for a room to stay in, but if you're looking to do meaningful work and connect with the culture around you, this is the spot for you. Thank you for everything, Tonio.

Estoy muy agradecida por haber tenido esta experiencia, fue increíble. Tonio es una persona muy cálida, amable y respetuosa. Las instalaciones son muy cómodas, limpias y ordenadas. La comida es deliciosa, cada día es un menú diferente y Rossana realiza cada plato con mucho amor. La colecta se realiza en los horarios estipulados por Tonio. El trabajo es físico pero agradable y se trabaja en equipo. Tuve la suerte de coincidir con personas muy encantadoras y practicar mi inglés.
