I can only thank Sid and his family for the warm welcome at Soyl Mansion. Despite my short stay, the environment where the mansion is located allowed me to connect with nature in a unique way. My tasks included helping out in the kitchen, cleaning the rooms and the sauna before the sessions, and, in a very basic way, help them whenever they needed.
I truly felt like part of the family, and for this reason, I highly recommend it to anyone who loves the mountains, good company, and great food

The time at Soyl Mansion was good! Getting connected to nature.

I think the best thing about it was that the pace of life is really slow. In a good way. You get to wind down, have time to think about yourself, really enjoy the nature,.... It is great for self development.

But then again, if you cannot manage it, it might hard. So use it, take advantage of the time being slow and treat it positively and you should be fine!

Soyl was a memorable and healing volunteer stay. The location is secluded in the best way, with a place to buy small snacks nearby and a small town around a calm and serene 40 min stroll. The food is flavorful and tasty. Sidd and Vishakra were welcoming and we had some interesting discussions. I helped with misc. tasks like preparing wood, helping clean rooms, helping guests, doing meal prep and more. There is a varied amount of stuff to do which keeps it fresh. If you are looking for a natural WP in India, this is a place I definitely recommend and hope to return to again soon!

Volunteering in a small Himalayan village was an unforgettable experience. Sid and Shaka were incredibly welcoming and made it easy to feel at home from day one. We went for some hikes in the most beautiful nature, enjoyed very good food and the sauna was definitely a highlight. It was a great balance of helping out, learning new things, and enjoying the surroundings. I'm very grateful for the time I could spend there, 3 weeks felt like a few days. Overall, a meaningful and enriching experience I'd highly recommend.
