We are a local family business located in the Camino de Santiago, in a small town near León. Very experienced receiving people from all around the world and sharing their stories and adventures. This was a special experience and Juan is an incredible host. Juan made me feel welcome and comfortable straight away. It’s a unique opportunity to meet incredible people from all backgrounds, including pilgrims, locals and other volunteers. The hostel and its surroundings are beautiful. Here you get to witness the magic of the Camino. The work was straightforward and enjoyable. If you are proactive and cooperate with the other volunteers then you will get so much out of this experience!

I really enjoyed my experience in this albergue. My favorite part was meeting new people every day and being part of their Camino journey. The work was not difficult, and the nature around the hostel is beautiful and peaceful.
If you love the Camino de Santiago experience, I think you will really enjoy staying or volunteering here.

My volunteer time was part of my Camino and it was a wonderful experience. It just added to my Camino experience helping pilgrims that come through and seeing what it takes to run an Albergue.
If you are someone that truly wants to help I highly recommend working with Juan. If you are a good and responsible worker, Juan will provide everything you need, and may take you on short excursions during downtime.
Do not apply if you have to be constantly told what to do or just want a free vacation.
It is an important task to make the stay for the Pilgrims a great one.

My experience at the hostel was beautiful. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Juan, Eric, Francisca and Emilio made me feel at home from the first day. the peaceful and loving energy here shows how much they believe in the Camino spirit. The work is variable and the time schedule is not too strict, it's important to coordinate between volunteers to make the best out of the working and free hours, but personally I had the best experience with Nivia and Kris on my side. I am so grateful to everyone for sharing with me all the love, knowledge and care that this place is. I'll be back!

It was my second time volunteering at the hostel, because since the first time, it felt like home. The place is a paradise, and much of that has to do with the people you will find there. Evi and Juan are the kindest, friendliest, and most peaceful people you will ever meet in your life. Every guest who passes through there, even for a night, can agree with me because they never want to leave! The tasks are light and enjoyable to do, there's always music around, everything is in order, and it's flexible at the same time. You become part of the family if you're also good vibes and proactive!
