What you offer

Be at the hostel was, by far, one of the most beautiful and amazing experiences that I've had being a volunteer! It was special cuse after 1,5 year, i was able to meet my sister, that also went to the hostel and had the experience! Carmem, the owner, is an incredible person, that allowed this to happen! She is joyful, with an amazing energy, beautiful smile and an impeccable sense of respect and responsibility! Also Luis is a nice guy, respectful and helpful with everything that you need. The hostel is super comfy, clean and beautiful (specially after all the reforms). I super recommend! ;)

Manuela,São and the rest were amazing people. They took care of me and made everything to make me feel comfortable. The tasks are simple and the host has good vibes. It's impossible to feel down there. The location is perfect: 20 minutes from the beach, 5 minutes from the supermarket, 30 from the mall. I had a private room at the rooftop, where I enjoyed the sunsets and I could do some trainings. Portimão is a great town and you can connect pretty well with other towns in Algarve. I recommend this volunteering and I only have good things to say about it. I'm really grateful

I volunteered in Myguesthouse,(they needed my help there, not in the hostel) this wasn't the place I had applied for and they hadn't warned me about it in advanced, communication with them was not that good but I ended up feeling good vibes; the volunteers room it's hard to rest at(lack of windows, really low ceiling, and no AC in a place that is an attic and receives sun half the day); the task isn't hard but I do think it was many hours to have just 1 day off, and job schedules were messy. Despite everything I learnt a lot, met amazing people and got to see awesome places!Good experience:)

It was an great time. Carmem is a very good person, adapting the work, really responsible and take caressive about the hostel. Work is simple and you will have free time to visit everywhere around Portimão, it is a stunning place. Atmosphere in the hostel is nice.

The entire expererience was much more than a volunteer. The flexibility, organization, good comunication between the staff allowd the volunteer have beautiful moments enjoing the city, beaches, sweet spots around the location and cities near by. The hostel is very well located, near than all.And with the bikes that the hostel offer to use, Portugal becames small. We just want say thanks for the opportunity and experience. Was surprisely beautiful, bacause Carmen, all the attention and care shared in the house and because magic moments that were possible live there. THANKS CARMEN!
