Heiko and Susan are the loveliest people, the kindest souls, I could talk to them for hours! So understanding, compassionate, they radiate warmth and they're so funny too. I loved his fresh juices in the morning, his cooking and singing, and his passion for permaculture, he's a real jack of all trades. I learned so much from him. And Phin is the sweetest dog in the world! As a first time volunteer, I'm so grateful, they've made me feel so much more at ease to volunteer and connect with people. Immersing myself in such a loving, genuine environment made it special, one I'd recommend to anyone.

The farm was amazing. Heiko and Susan were phenomenal hosts and Finn was such a pleasure to be around. Great if you enjoy learning about sustainability and permaculture, Heiko has a wealth of knowledge on all things plants. It's not too rural that there's nowhere to see, but it's incredibly peaceful. Recommend to anyone looking to do some hard work but well appreciated and earned.

Heiko and Susan are amazing hosts. Our time at the farm was full of fun outings with their beautiful dog Finn, great food and with Heiko's extensive knowledge of permaculture and foraging. The work was straightforward and laidback perfect for anyone willing to get their hands dirty. I highly recommend this experience for anyone who loves the outdoors and all things nature!
