Volunteering at the hostel was a great way to explore a part of Patagonia and interact with locals. Maxi and the other volunteers were all super friendly. The area is quiet in the sense that I did not meet a lot of people outside of the hostel, but there is a LOT of beautiful scenery nearby to explore :)

On my first experience as a volunteer in the Andean region, I ended up at Maxi's hostel not really knowing what I was going to find. To my pleasant surprise, I was welcomed by a team that conveys the values of familiarity, mutual respect, and a commitment to helping. But above all I felt free to be myself, to propose ideas and to spend each day in a very pleasant way. As for the hostel, it is cozy and has everything you need. Lago Puelo seems to me a very beautiful place, if you're used to tranquility, to walking a lot, and to climbing mountains. Very grateful, I would come back.

My first volunteer experience and my first solo trip. From day one I was welcomed with a lot of warmth. We shared dinners, strolls, and very lovely moments, both with the other volunteers and with Maxi and his family. Thanks Maxi and Mariel for every adventure; each place you took me to was incredible. It brought me wonderful people, unforgettable places, and an experience that made me come home very happy 🥹❤️

My experience with Maxi was very positive. From the first moment I felt comfortable and well received, especially since it was my first experience as a volunteer. The communication was clear and as expected, and the tasks are simple and manageable, which also allows me to enjoy the surroundings.
I was able to connect a lot with Lago Puelo's tranquility, rest and enjoy the place. I felt at ease throughout my stay, in a relaxed and respectful environment. Without a doubt, it was a very pleasant experience that I would recommend.

The facilities are fairly good, which makes it comfortable. The work to be done is very straightforward and not difficult to understand. Maxi was always willing to communicate for any situation.
