💰 Volunteer Contribution To help us cover the daily costs of meals, utilities, and infrastructure maintenance, we kindly ask each volunteer to contribute 15 Euros per day during their stay. This contribution helps us provide: • Three healthy, home-cooked meals each day (mostly from our farm) • Comfortable accommodation • Clean water, electricity, and other basic needs

We are building a community center / library to support the education and needs of our local community. If you choose this project you can help us to build and set up the running of the center. This will include building work, DIY and painting, gardening, project support and planning, IT support and setting up educational programmes and resources. We love working with our volunteers to find out new ways of doing things.

My stay in Arusha was incredible! James and Linda are such wonderful people, they made my entire stay so relaxing and enjoyable What's more is the organisation, the project, is so special, you really feel as though you're making a positive impact in the community. the project is such a beautiful country and the locals all around you are so incredibly kind and welcoming Everything from the people, the food, the landscapes, the activities - it was all perfect and so memorable I loved my time here and I would love to visit James and this organisation again in the future!

James and his family were very welcoming and I felt right at home. Linda is an excellent cook! The accommodation was very nice and comfortable. Sometimes the electricity was spotty, but it was never a serious issue. I just worked on the farm the whole time, but had opportunities to visit the school and do other things. The farm is so peaceful and near the base of Mt Meru. Over the weekend, James arranged a guided day hike for me to see the waterfalls at Meru, which was great. I was the only volunteer at the time, so it was a bit quiet.

I stayed with James for a month for the construction project. During my stay, I had to raise funds to finance part of the project. Once the funds were raised, I worked alongside the workers and the site manager in the mornings. James is an exceptional host, very welcoming and always available. The accommodation is simple but functional, and the delicious meals were a great way to learn more about life in the project.

I had really an amazing time during this volunteering. James and his family are very welcoming and the meals spent together are a real way to understand better how Tanzanian people live (both thanks to the food and to the chats). Regarding the volunteering: I spent my morning in the primary school and the afternoon in the library with the kids. Both activities were great to spend time with the kids and trying to teach them something about the world.
The accommodation is well maintained and welcoming.

My experience in this mission was amazing ! I spent 2 weeks there and I would recommend 100% to everyone.
It's so interesting to discover a new culture, the kids are amazing and just want to be seen and loved.
Above all, James and his whole family are so kind, they really make you feel at home and welcomed, and it's super pleasant to share moments with them.
