Benjamin and Mingrui were both very kind and welcoming. Benjamin's patience when explaining tasks. Mingrui is very responsible, collaborative, and funny, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, everything went really well and I had a great experience at the castle. I'm grateful for the time I spent there!

I stayed at the host for a month, and it was a pleasant escape from reality.
The property is surrounded by woods and mesmerizing landscapes and Paris is just an hour away.
Some parts of the castle are in need of restoration, but the work consist mainly of cleaning rooms for guests.
Common areas and our rooms were really comfortable, though a few issues, such as the lack of hot water and wifi in one of the two buildings.
Beyond that, I met some fantastic people with whom I bonded immediately and I am very grateful to our host, Benjamin, for this first Worldpackers experience :)

I had a good time a the host. The hours were as expected and the the room was clean and comfortable. The castle is quite large with lots of areas to explore. There was definitely some cleaning tasks that were gross but overall the work was easy. It's a bit far from everything so i recommend arriving with groceries. There are free buses to the neighboring towns which i recommend you ask Benjamin about because he will help you set it up. :))

This was my first time volunteering with Worldpackers, and I enjoyed it. The work involves 3 hours a day, and Benjamin is an amazing person. The castle is beautiful, very quiet, and peaceful. It is currently undergoing restoration, but the atmosphere is relaxed. The only downside is the public transport in the area, especially on weekends; if you go to Paris on your day off, it's best to leave early since you'll need to return early as well.

I stayed for 5 days and had a great time. The daily life was very calm on the countryside and I still had enough time to explore the towns around and an afternoon in Paris :)
