The Experience

We are surrounded by nature: mountains, rivers, Mediterranean scrub, and a rich wildlife — roe deer, wild boars, foxes, rabbits, birds and birds of prey 🦊🌳 We need help painting the ceiling and laying smooth mortar in a room, finishing laying out our rainwater harvesting design for irrigation, preparing a vegetable garden, cutting firewood, and other DIY or gardening tasks... We speak Spanish, English, Italian, Catalan, and French (basic).

Thank you so much, Sara and Miguel! My time with you was truly special. You are incredible people, and I'm very grateful for the opportunity. I learned a lot about this way of living, and the experience with you is something I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to learn more about sustainability, caring for nature, and so much more. A big hug to everyone 🤗 See you on the road!

me and my friend stayed 3 days with sara and miguel and loved our time there.
their house is surrounded by their huge land and is pretty much in the middle of nowhere (in the mountains, with little civilization near) and everything's terribly pretty. it is a great place to reconnect with nature, sort out your mind and to just enjoy the moment.
they are extremely nice and caring people who took us in very spontaneously and cared about us when one of us was sick.
thanks so much for having us :))

While backpacking we spent 3 days at the project and felt very comfortable and welcome. our tasks were as described and with a dynamic schedule. sara and miguel were welcoming to our ideas and perspectives and never left us stressed to finish a task fast - we were able to work in our own pace. we feel this project has a lot of potential and the hosts have valuable mindsets, a great drive and vision for it to grow. we would have loved to stay longer with this caring and interesting family and their project. thanks so much for this enriching experience <3 highly recommended!!!

The experience with Sara, Miguel and Oli has been wonderful, we have connected with nature, with the animals and with local customs. They have been kind people, always attentive to the needs that arose and the communication has been incredible. We had the opportunity to go hiking, to accompany them to the beach and to share enriching conversations where we learned more about their culture and customs. It is a 100% recommended place if you want to connect with nature and live a different experience.

We had a very wonderful experience with them. They welcomed us with a lot of warmth and were always concerned that we were well, both during the work and during our stay. We slept very well, ate excellently, and they gave us everything we needed to be able to work in the best possible way. We were able to contribute to the construction of the dry toilet, and the tasks were well organized. In addition, they took us to see the town and the river, which made the experience even more special and helped us connect with nature. Thank you very much for the hospitality, generosity, and for sharing this with us! ❤️
