Work is physically tiring but you'll get used to it, Olga is very patient in teaching you what to do and she is super nice. Breeges and his family are lovely and caring of your needs. The accommodation is nice but a bit cold and humid in winter times. If you're coming during off season and you're the only volunteer there you might be feel a bit lonely. Also during winter till Easter you won't be able to ride horses, because their trekking pony are not the farm yard. (You can't ride horses if you're not able to do so.) You will be taking care of stallions and newborns.

Volunteering here was an amazing experience! The work is definitely very physical, but it's incredibly rewarding to be around such beautiful animals and contribute to their care. The team is fantastic, everyone is so kind, welcoming, and supportive. They make sure you feel valued and teach you everything you need to know, even if you're new to this kind of work. It's a great opportunity to connect with nature, meet wonderful people, and gain hands-on experience. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a meaningful and fulfilling volunteering experience!

Thanks for taking me in at the yard, I learned a lot of new things about horses and how to work in a place like this one, even with no previous the farm staff was patient with me and taught me all I needed to know. Special thanks to Olga and Priscilla who were very patience with me and helped me during my time there.

Volunteering here was an amazing experience! I already had some knowledge about horses, but I learned so much more during my time there. Ofc is physical work, but you get used to. Olga, the person you interact with the most, is an absolute delight,so kind and patient. The host family, the Diamonds, are incredibly warm people who genuinely care about you. The food was always delicious, and we never lacked anything. The place itself is stunning and peaceful, away from all the noise. The beach is beautiful, and the landscapes are breathtaking. I am infinitely grateful for the farm!

I recently spent two months in Ireland working here, and it was an incredible experience. Living in such beautiful nature was a dream, and the family I stayed with was amazingly welcoming. I had the chance to da lot of fun activities with the horses, from riding on treks through stunning landscapes to learning more about breeding. The entire experience was enriching and unforgettable. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to immerse themselves the farm world of horses while enjoying the best of Irish hospitality.
