WHAT A WONDERFUL PLACE! First of all, the hostel has everything you need to live there, not just as a volunteer, but as a guest! At Danhostel, I really felt like home! The hostel is big, but very organized. It's fully equipped and provides really good food for the volunteers. Very well located, in the heart of Aarhus, but a big shout out to the staff, who makes the volunteers time there even better. Everyone works together as a team! The activities and time work are very well respected and the schedule is made with love, because they care about you and they hope you enjoy a lot you free days.

Danhostel has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. The other volunteers and staff were lovely and made me feel at home right away! You work part of the day, so you still have plenty of time to explore incredible Aarhus! The location is right in the middle of everything, so it’s easy to explore with friends in free time. The volunteer coordinator works to put you in your task of preference to the best of her ability which is greatly appreciated and shows Danhostel’s mission to create a wonderful environment for everyone. Made some life-long friends here and will be returning!

The first week of staying at Danhostel, we could stay in a private room which was amazing especially compared to the last place we stayed at. The work hours are fair and adjustable to your preferences if you notify on time. At the start of the week, the volunteers hand in a list containing what kind of food you want, so make sure you agree and communicate upon what you want. I have had an incredible time here by meeting many people, who are super friendly and nice. I highly recommend Danhostel if you want to have a good time in a clean and comfortable space with lots of different people!
