My experience at the hostel was very positive. Everything that was agreed upon for the volunteer position was respected, and the location itself is excellent, I always felt safe. What truly made this experience special were the people, both locals and travelers, who helped make my stay warmer and more enjoyable. My night shift could get a little quiet at times, but I was lucky to connect with guests who kept me company and made the hours pass nicely. I would absolutely love to return to the hostel!

The place is beautiful and people working in the hostel are great. we all quickly became friends. From the very beginning of my adventure with the hostel, Filipe, the manager, has been very helpful. The communication in the hostel is easy, friendly and honest; in my opinion this is exactly what you need to build a successful team. the hostel creates a special, make a difference" environment, where you can feel good and enjoy the time both at and outside the working hours. They do care for each other and the guests. I would definitely recommend this place to everybody.

The experience at Cosmopolitan exceeded my expectations! From the very beginning I was warmly welcomed and received, the team was wonderful and the manager Luciana incredible, always attentive to the needs, demonstrating support and in accordance with the volunteering norms. The Hostel is a very calm, clean and organized environment, cozy and family-friendly. Everything contributed to an excellent experience, it was a pleasure to spend this time at Cosmo! 🩵

My experience was so interesting that I'm still in the onboarding process, which are the adjustments we make after a new experience.
This was my first volunteer experience and I'm passionate about this style of travel.
My stay was peaceful; the volunteers' room is the quietest and most tranquil, allowing you to wake up a bit later if your reception shift is the night shift.
I hope to go back there next year to volunteer for a longer time at this hostel.

The experience at the hostel was very positive. I managed to negotiate my days off to be able to travel on the weekend; the work wasn't taxing (reception, which on weekdays wasn't that busy). I spoke with guests from various places around the world and with the staff who lived in the city. I had stayed there before, as a guest, and now as a volunteer I had an excellent experience. Great location, good facilities, and I was always very respected by everyone. I felt really comfortable and that's why I recommend it! See you next time, loves!!
