The owners Brenna and Rex made the Eugene Hostel such an amazing worktrade experience and was more than I expected. The hours that I worked were 2 days for 8 hours and 1 day for 4 hours. The typical work was flipping beds for hostel guests, cleaning reception and other hostel housekeep work. Because we worked 8 hours for 2 days we were able to have 4 days off to ourselves to explore other parts of Oregon and Eugene itself. The atmosphere at the hostel is absolutely amazing. We were able to meet so many interesting people from different parts of the world and collaborate with the amazing staff

This was such a great first worldpackers experience. Shifts aren't stressful at all, everything is very organized and the expectations are explained well.
The walls and shelves are covered in art. The new owners & other staff are such a joy to share the space and time with. We had potlucks and movie nights, as well as staff D&D sessions regularly. It's in a very walkable town with loads of things to do and places to explore.

There's so much to say about this hostel so the rest of my spiel is here: https://www.instagram.com/p/CfLrHBVuN-q/?igshid=YTE5ODU0
