Seeing her work in advocacy for better resources for dogs in the shelter and seeing her take care of the dogs was truly inspiring. The work is hard and can be dirty but it can be very rewarding. Volunteering at the shelter rescate was very fulfilling: we could see the impact our efforts had on the dogs in care and on the wonderful people running the organization. We got to meet other volunteers and the locals who help out at the shelter. We stayed at a nearby hostel with a generous discount (private room or dorm were available). รrsula is a kind and caring host, she made her expectations clear and was understanding and flexible when I wasn't feeling well and needed a day off. That being said, the work is not for the faint of heart: roll up your sleeves and get ready to be dirty!

Uchi is an incredible host, she's always kind and helpful, it was really a pleasure meeting and working with her. This dog shelter has every kind of dog you can possibly imagine, and each one of them is super sweet! My days in the shelter passed so quickly, i loved staying there and we even took some of the doggies on a walk on the beach. I met other great volunteers and overall it was a great experience ๐ฅฐ

Volunteering here was such an amazing and unforgettable experience! I loved every moment spent with the dogs โ from the playful ones to the shy ones who slowly opened up. Each had their own personality, and it was beautiful to see them shine. You can really feel how much love and care they receive. Uchi has a big heart and made a real effort to include us and show us around. It felt more like being part of a family than just volunteering. I'm leaving with so many special memories and will truly miss all the doggies ( & cuddles)๐๐พ
