Esperamos de Nuestros voluntarios Dog lovers, Estudiantes- Bachiller de medicina veterinaria o solo amantes de animales es bienvenido. para el cuidado, mantenimiento DEL REFUGIO. conoce nuestro balneario y disfruta de surf, también ayudar a nuestro proyecto social local, el hospedaje esta aparte del refugio. somos un refugio de rescate de canes en huanchaco 18 AÑOS de lucha por ellos. Disfruta nuestra comida y actividades locales.

This was my first volunteer experience while travelling and it was perfect! Ursula is a wonderful woman and it felt really good to help her out with taking care of the pups, it's usually just her by herself so it's really important for volunteers to help take the pressure off. The work is actually very straightforward and it doesn't take long to carry out all the daily duties, afterwhich you can spend time just hanging out with the dogs which is beautiful! They are such great characters and a joy to spend time with. I 100% reccomend this volunteer experience.

Ursula is amazing. She welcomed us with open arms and an open heart. Her house was our house, her dogs were our dogs and her friends were our friends. Every day we went to her the organization to feed the 18 dogs and to clean up everything. Ursula let us do everything by our own and we also could bring up own ideas and improvements. We also learned how to fix a wall :) we fell in love with Ursula and all her dogs <3 If you are a real dog lover and if you don't care about being dirty all day long, visit Ursula and her dog project and help the street dogs to have a better life.

You can learn so much from these dogs! An unforgettable experience. Ursula treated us like family and trusted us 100% from the beginning on. From day 1 we could take care of the dogs on ourselves, we could improve and help wherever we felt it made sense, we could connect to the dogs and managed to have an impact. It was really fulfilling and a true pleasure. Moreover, Ursula gave us recommendations to literally everything, so we could also get to know the region and get in contact with locals. If you want to help this awesome project, don't hesitate, you won't regret <3

Increíble experiencia!!! Uchi y su huanchaqueritos nos recibieron muy bien desde el primer momento!!! Verdaderamente la pasamos muy bien y aprendimos muchísimas cosas sobre las tareas a realizar y sobre el Perú en general!!! Gracias por tan calida recepción!!! Ya estamos extrañando a Karina, Cabezón, Skay, blanquita, chocolata y todos sus hermanitos/as!!! Uchi además cumplió sobradamente con todo lo prometido! Recomiendo 100%

Fue una experiencia hermosa y única. Fue como sentirse en mi casa. Recibimos muuucho cariño por Uchi (la dueña), por los perritos y por la gente local que Uchi nos fue presentando. Uchi también nos invitó a un proyecto social que consistía en limpiar la playa. Este son los proyectos sociales que nosotros queríamos realizar en este viaje por Sudamérica. Uchi, siempre se mostró atenta a nuestras necesidades, super alegre y nos enseñó un montón de su cultura. Y, también, siempre preocupada por ayudar al medio ambiente, a otras personas y a los el proyeto su casa la sentimos como la nuestra :)
