Description
Volunteers contribute $5 per day to cover expenses for food, maintenance, or financing our organization.

The Experience
We are looking for volunteers who can teach and support as at New Marigold Secondary School. You will work up to four or five hours each day with our children up to grade seven. At our school we have Wi-Fi available and cook all three meals for you. In the morning Nepali Dhal Bhat, in the afternoon a small snack and in the evening also Dhal Bhat. The accommodation is a volunteer room at the school.

It was an amazing experience, the host Shamser has organised and is managing a really good setup for children to learn, nurture and grow. During the period of stay, there were multiple opportunities to contribute to kids learnings in multiple ways, teachers present in school are very welcoming and open to new ideas/suggestions, same as the host. New ideas are always welcomed, responsiveness and flexibility from the host is amazing.

What a magical place! A true expansive experience - Shamser had worked so hard to make this school what it is and it shows. The 'work' is not hard and you meet an amazing array of people whilst also helping a great cause in the middle of the Himalayas!

The team was amazing, you work together as volunteers, trust eachother and commit to tasks as a team. You can choose from many activities that need to be done and bring your skills to use. The village is welcoming and you have everything you need. Accomondation is good.
