Volunteers contribute $5 per day to cover expenses for food, maintenance, or financing our organization.

The Experience
Lending Hope Academy is looking for volunteers who is willing to teach the kids and helping us finishing the school like painting. You can teach English, Math, Science, General Knowledge, Computer, Social, Arts and play with the kids. You will hike for an hour and 30mins heading to school from headquarters.

I have been in a New Marigold Boarding School for 25 days and it was great experience! There are a lot of tasks to do: teaching (math, english, informatics, science), playing with kids (volleyball, football, handcrafting, etc), building, painting, helping in the kitchen. One can try everything and choose what suits the most. The kids are amazing. Every morning they come to school smiling and you see that they are happy to come there. This is the most important. The host, Shamser, is great inspiring person. He always searches the way to improve and he really loves his job. Thank you!

Our stay in New Marigold was amazing and we recommend to everyone. You get to spend time with lovely children and amazing people from all over the world. Also you can choose the task you prefer the most. Shamser told us many interesting things and his work is very inspiring. Would love to stay longer and hopefully there will be a chance to come again!

Highly recommended, the kids are adorable and the village is nice and quiet. You can choose what to do during the day, from painting cooking and cleaning to teaching classes as well as private teaching with special needs kids. You also get to know the locals and do some hikes in the weekend. The beds are provided with mosquito nets and sleeping bags, and the toilet is western style with hot shower

I have had a wonderful time in New Marigold school. Shamser's work and dedication is tremendously inspiring, and I have rarely felt so involved in a local community. You get the chance to see truly meaningful social impact in action. I would recommend it to anyone.
