I loved to stay at Mulala! Even I was the only volunteer for couple weeks I felt doing important work and I felt like home with the family. The project is so important that I hope they'll find a good manager to run it. Obviously Amanda doesn't have time for everything but I'm impressed how she run everything with love and passion. I feel like I need to come back at least in some point. I miss everyone already. I think there's a lot to do at Mulala for many kind of people but specially people who are qualified divers and are interested in working under the water. All the love for Amanda!

I had an extraordinary time with Amanda and her family. They always made me feel like part of their family. The passion and effort they put into their project are unique and highly admirable. Not only did I learn about the ocean and corals, but I also had the full cultural experience outside of the sanctuary. I am extremely thankful for the experience and the time I spent with Amanda, Johannes, Hanri, Luka and the other volunteers. I fully recommend participating in this project, as I would always do it again. For sure, I am coming back in a couple of years to see the development!

I had the best time volunteering for Mulala the reserve Sanctuary. They just started this volunteer program and it was still a bit chaotic without a manager, but Amanda handled it well. It's a really beautiful place where you can enjoy a slow life in nature. If you love the ocean and can (or want to learn) scuba dive, this is a good volunteer opportunity! Besides doing volunteer work, you have enough time to explore Mozambique. Amanda and her family are very welcoming and will make your stay unforgettable. I recommend this volunteer spot!

I cannot speak more highly of Mulala the reserve Sanctuary! Amanda and Yohannes have created such a wonderful program where you feel like part of the family! The diving was INCREDIBLE and I learnt so much about corals and the reserve conservation. The living space was amazing, right on the beach with the best sunsets every night! They also da great job and showing you around the local areas and embrace the culture of Mozambique. My only regret is only being able to stay for 2 weeks! Next time I'll do 6!
