Lululu was opened in 2016. It contains many rooms with different bed arrangements. Our goal is to allow people to create connections in a chill and respectful atmosphere. Your main help will be housekeeping and prepare the breakfast or dinner (no experience needed). Sometimes you will have to close the lounge area at the end of the day. We are looking for individuals who are happy to help with what we need and want to enjoy local life in Kochi!

My time at the Guest house exceeded all my expectations. It was recommended to me by a friend Lorea (her review is below) :) The hosts family are wonderful, kind, energetic people who bring that energy to their guesthouses. The hours and work load are more than reasonable for volunteer work, and we were given private rooms, breakfast, and lunch. As well as, karaoke nights, sightseeing, and local activities. I cannot fault my time in Kōchi and can wholeheartedly recommend the guest house! ;)

I spent one month at the guest house and had a wonderful experience! I was warmly welcomed by the whole team. The working hours were very reasonable, around 4 hours a day, and the workload was well balanced depending on how busy the guesthouse was. I had my own private room, with breakfast and dinner included. I also had the chance to meet so many travelers and enjoy the amazing atmosphere of the guesthouse. It really felt like home! Thank you so much for everything! I hope to come back to Kochi one day! ❤️

Lululu is the best! My time there was really amazing. The team is great and the owners are really actively involved in providing a proper guesthouse experience to the guests. The lounge is a good place to socialise, helped by the daily music sessions, breakfast (with homemade bread!), and dinners. The work is fair and it's nice to help a bit with cooking/serving. The hours are never more than as agreed. It was also very nice to have a private room with a desk, as well as a bike (Kochi city is mostly flat). It was my favorite volunteering experience, I can only strongly recommend it!

Thank you Taro, Kayano and everyone else! We spent 5 weeks at the guest house and enjoyed every day. They made us feel like family, arranged weekly activities and just treated us very kindly overall.
The work was very fair and they always made sure that everything was alright for us. A bit of housekeeping, helping out during evening dinners and other little tasks.
The atmosphere in the guest house is great too, very relaxed and good community with having communal breakfast and dinner and of course Music Time!!! Highly Recommended if you want to visit Kochi and Shikoku

Thank you so much again for joining us! We were so lucky to have Mario and Teresa. They are hard workers and rooms after their cleaning were always perfect.
We loved their personalities too - they are chill, easygoing, respectful, and humorous, and bring such a great energy to the space. Talking to you two at the lounge, playing card games in the nights, or simply laughing at your jokes were always so much fun.
We recommend collaborating with them to all the owners.
