The Experience
O Salto do Lobo (Serra da Estrela , a serra mais bonita e maio em Portugal) e um alojamento local que tem cães da região Serra da Estrela. Com a supervisão atenta de Ana, os 7 cães da raça Serra da Estrela interagem de maneira amigável e acolhedora com os clientes. Sendo naturalmente leais e protetores, esses cães proporcionam uma atmosfera segura e confortável aos visitantes, tornando-se anfitriões calorosos e receptivos.

My experience at Saldo the guest house was absolutely amazing 🤩 Winter time is a quiet time for guests, which gave me time to enjoy the nature and engaging in different tasks that needed to be done. Ana is an amazing, respectful, kind, caring and nice person; she is an excellent cook, I enjoy every single dish she cooked during my stay 🤩 Thank you Ana for giving me the opportunity to live this wonderful experience and share with me a little story about the guest house…

The house was in the middle of Serra da Estrella Park. Beautiful views for hills lovers. However I felt like a got stuck in the house. If you don't have a car is difficult to get somewhere. Could not relay on the bus. Perfect place for hot Portuguese summer. When I arrive there it was very cold in the house in my first week.

My time at the guest house was great, I could really experience how is live in a mountain and pretty remote area. During my two weeks there my main responsibility was housekeeping and laundry. Ana is welcoming host, experienced cook and also does magical massages :) I wish the best for the guest house, Ana and the volunteers whom support this terrific place into the nature 💚

Ana is a great host, with a lovely heart and soul. I'm sure we will stay friends and I will return to give her a huge hug. Also the accommodation is in an incredible location, with very beautiful surroundings. However, my experience in the guest house didn't go very well due to organization and management issues. I hope that, in a next opportunity, Ana can be better organized to receive volunteers, with greater clarity regarding the tasks, responsibilities and expectations. Accommodation has enormous potential that can be explored, if properly renovated, maintained and well managed. Thanks :)

Apesar do reconhecimento do trabalho do Henrique durante o tempo da sua estadia no Salto do Lobo ter sido muito boa em termos de dedicação e desempenho como já referi, penso que a sua posição foi muito critica, e pouca clara em relação à minha pessoa e ao meu trabalho.
Não acho uma posição correta tendo em conta a posição em que estava de voluntário, e de ter menos 20 anos do que eu
Por essa razão deixei uma sugestão à worldpackers para estabelecer um acordo de cumprimento antes da vinda dos voluntários para os locais, envolvendo questões que eu acho necessário estabelecer para que as estadias corram o melhor possível.

Ana is a great person and she learns me some things about her. I slept in the river house, because the room that I was stay was ful of things, but then Ana organizated it. The dogs was really pretty, and friendly. The nature was impresive.
