What you offer

The Experience
Our hostel is in Aoshima, in the south of Japan, blessed with great weather and fantastic beaches, the surfing Mekka of Japan! We offer free accommodation and ask for your help with cleaning and bed making, which takes about 3-4 hours a day. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions!

This was my first WorldPackers experience and it was overall pretty nice. I would highly recommend visiting during warmer temperatures to really enjoy the beach. Toshi was very welcoming and work was fairly easy giving us enough time to explore afterwards.

I had so much fun and met so many amazing people! The work is easy and goes by quickly, there are several properties but most of them are walking distance apart and Toshi will drive you to the further ones. The location is fantastic and the beach is only 2 minutes away so you can surf to your hearts content. I'll never forget my time in the saloon with my fellow sheriffs, it has been a pleasure 🫡

A really nice experience ! Toshi and Daisuke are really chill and the job is fair. You'll have time to discover the region and enjoy Aoshima for a slower life :)

The guest house is a paradise, thats the only way i can describe it! Toshi the host is super chill en nice, he's funny and he's a DJ so cant go wrong with that. The work itself is very chill and actually fun and relaxing sometimes, it was a nice start to the day and not long at all. The surf is absolutely perfect for all levels. The town itself is beautifull and offers some nice quiet and chill vibes. I would also recommend Hitchhicking on the island of KYU SHU, its a great way to meet local people! Toshi and Japan, THANK YOU! PS. If you see Ms. Kohana in the saloon, say hey for me!
