My first volunteer experience couldn't have been better! Monge is a very attentive host, always ready to teach something and help with whatever is needed. We experienced an arts and decoration immersion; it was a very enriching exchange. In addition to everything, he and Renata introduced me to local culture in various ways; we visited a few bars, waterfalls, and walked around the city. I plan to return soon!

I lived light days immersed in art in São João del Rei, both with the host and on the streets; the city breathes music, especially "Choro". I was very well received by the Monk - who was with a broken leg during my stay - and by his mother, Cida, who was there helping him recover, and by Pixinguinha, the kitten who is clingy and loves to play. The tasks were light and the schedules very flexible, I was free to set my own hours and to live the city's experience, surrounded by nature, waterfalls, climbing, history... Gratitude to the Monk, Cida and Pixinguinha ❤️
