The Experience

We are looking for someone who may want to stay long term and could convert to a paid position. This position would compliment the local management with a focus on improving and maintaining the hospitality and guest experience. Daily tasks would be to inpsect the cleanliness and maintenance of the property and direct the volunteers to ensure all guests reservations and communications are upkept. Must know Cloudbeds/Canva/Google/Social Media.

Chance is an amazing host couldn't recommend this volunteering experience enough! Elena and I stayed here for just over 3 weeks and we absolutely loved it ! We got to surf every morning, stretch after in the yoga studio which looked out at the beach, easy work load combined with a relaxed laid back vibe makes for a perfect spot to park up for abit while traveling! Special shout out to all the staff working here full time for making us feel welcomed and apart of the family!

It was a good experience, a comfortable place, good for relaxing and getting to know the region. I was able to enjoy surfing in the region with the surfboards available. We received the meals arranged. But everything is very disorganized and without communication, you have to adapt to the flow of how things work because it is all a mess, hygiene issues with the food are also questionable, a lot of dirt in the internal work areas.

El Gigante é um povoado simples e encantador, perfeito para quem busca tranquilidade e contato com a natureza! Cercado por lindas paisagens, o local é um convite para apreciar pores do sol e desfrutar de ótimas ondas para o surfe. O Hotel possui uma ótima estrutura e está super bem localizado logo em frente a praia! No entanto, percebi uma certa desorganização na gestão, o que pode impactar a experiência dos hóspedes e deixar os voluntários muitas vezes perdidos devido à falta de informações claras.
